Captain Awesome just before his very first volunteer appreciation dinner. I am so thankful for a child who sees the value in serving other people even when it means less 'alone time'- something he greatly values.
Trooper and I don't often get an evening to ourselves so we made the best of it with an impromptu date night. I'm am enchanted with his infectious smile. In his own words, "It's a weapon. A very useful weapon."
